The Gun Reform Focus Group and Sandy Hook Promise Advocacy Team met with representatives from Senator Cruz and House Rep Carter’s offices on August 8 and 9.

Our group demanded reinstatement of the ban on the manufacture and new sales of assault weapons along with high-capacity magazines. We presented the signed petitions, our Memorandum outlining gun reform proposals, and a Brady (United Against Gun Violence) fact sheet regarding assault style weapons.

The Team requested a written response from our elected officials.
