You told us and we listened! You want TED CRUZ out? Look at how you helped! The PAC of Sun City Democrats Club is proud to announce the HUGE SUCCESS of the “Oust Ted Cruz” Fundraiser for the Colin Allred for Senate campaign.

Held on Saturday, June 15th, over 120 members and friends gathered to show support for our party’s candidate for the U.S. Senate, Colin Allred. A vigorous and inspirational speech by the campaign’s surrogate – Vicki Goodwin – State Representative from District 47 in Austin, started off the event. A video from the candidate outlined Congressman Allred’s purpose and agenda in running for office. His humble and uplifting message to all Texans is one of hope and appreciation for our democratic values.

95 contributions were gathered in the form of checks and cash and Cammie Wait, Treasurer of our organization, turned over approximately $9,400.00 to Representative Goodwin to deliver to the Allred campaign.

Many thanks to the PAC and the Special Events/Social committee for their hard work and support for this event. Many, many thanks to all our members and friends who participated in the event!
