Austin music Live interest group

Sun City is but a short distance from “The Live Music Capital of the World.” So, an “Austin Music Live” Interest Group has been created for the Club by Mike Shay. The CA covers the big name/big venue shows fairly well, so the focus is on:

• Smaller venues in Austin: 3 Ten - Saxon Pub -  El Mercado - Antone’s...

• Cultural Activities Center in Temple - hosts a Texas Music Series 
• The Globe Theater in Bertram
  
  

These artists make up the special brand of Austin music: singer-songwriter, roots rock, blues, and honky-tonk. These acts tend to promote progressive ideas.

The plan is to schedule monthly outings using buses, carpools and vans.
