Volunteer Deputy Registrars help register eligible citizens to vote by distributing, reviewing, and accepting completed voter registration applications. A VDR must be trained and appointed by the Williamson County Elections office to accept voter registration applications. All current VDR appointments have expired.


Beginning January 10, 2023, Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) classes will be conducted:

• first, second, and third Tuesday of every month at 4:00pm
• first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm
• a Saturday class at 10:00 am will be offered quarterly (the Williamson County Elections Office website will reflect upcoming dates).

Training classes must be attended in person at the Elections Department:

• 301 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626
• Each class is limited to 30 participants
• Classes are approximately 45 minutes
• You must register for a spot at least 2 hours prior to the class by emailing [email protected] or calling (512) 943-1630.
