When: Saturday, April 27
Where: 2nd Street, between Church and Myrtle (Georgetown)
Time: 8:30am–12noon (arrive NO LATER THAN 8:30am)
Sign-up: Red Poppy Parade Sign-up
Parking: Anywhere near the square; suggest carpooling with friends given limited parking options

What to Wear

• Wear as much BLUE as you can! (Please... NO red if possible.)
• Wear your new “Vote Democrat” club t-shirt.
  > Pick-up available at Happy Hour on April 24
  > You may also contact Dorothy Fontanella to arrange pick-up
• If you do not have the new club t-shirt, please wear a blue shirt. 
• But … no matter what you wear, we want to see you there. JOIN US!
• We want the best entry in the parade and that takes all of you.

'Prom' it Up with Your Attire

• Have fun with what you wear. Wear a tiara, glitter up a boa, wear bows in your hair.
• Wear a fancy skirt (netted, tulle, tutus??), suit type jackets, bow ties, or just be creative... it’s Prom time!
• We will have some fun stuff like corsages or pom poms... (First come, first served)

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Please arrive at our parade ‘gathering’ location--2nd Street between Church & Myrtle--NO LATER THAN 8:30am (entrance will close at 9am)
• We are #8 in the parade!

• Be prepared for a long wait before the parade begins
• You are welcome to bring chairs for your comfort during this time as long as they can be restored to your car in plenty of time prior to parade start time; that “time’ is never exact.
• Please be prepared for walking a distance of approximately 2 miles; definitely wear your best walking shoes.
